ZnowAR is a Augmented Reality (AR) game, for Android, made with Unity.
Made in November 2023 for Mobile Game Development assignment. (Semester 4)
This is my 2nd mobile game
In this project, I was tasked with using AR Mechanics, made possible thanks to Niantic Lightship and Unity's AR Kit
The models are all from Poly Pizza.
The main challenge in this project was solving the gradle error when trying to build, and performance issues
How to Play
-
The player can use their device's camera to scan around surfaces in real life
-
This could spawn in some virtual models as decorations
-
Flying enemies will start to randomly spawn anywhere
-
It could also spawn in some snowballs that the player can collect by tapping on them
-
All the player has to do is collect snowball ammo to throw at enemies to defeat them
-
Enemies may switch between wandering around, or chasing the player to melee attack to deal damage
-
There is no end goal, so it is more of a hypercasual survival game
