This is like a FNAF style game or clone.

Nexus Containment Center Malaysia (NCCM) is a prototype horror game, for Windows, made in Unity.

Made in April 2024 for Game Narrative group assignment. (Semester 5)

The game is purely intended as a proof of concept, hence will only feature one level with foundational gameplay.

In this group project, I was in the Team called "NoName". As the only programmer here, the Technical Designer and I had many discussions during class and through Discord in the making of this prototype.

 

My approach was to use State Machines for the enemies, and game events for almost everything

All the low poly models are from Poly Pizza

How to Play

  • The player must read the posters on the board in the office before starting the game to learn what type(s) of defense to use against which type of enemy 

  • ​To see which enemy will attack soon, the player can use the computer to watch the CCTV and change cameras
  • After noting down the enemy's type, the player must call a suitable backup to handle that enemy
  • If the right type of backup was called, they can help get rid of that type of enemy
  • If the wrong type of backup was called, they will fail and be disabled for the rest of the night
  • When an enemy reaches outside the player's office window, the are given a short time to quickly respond to them and defend
  • The player can use a combination of defense buttons like noise, light, door lock, etc. Depends on the type of enemy
  • The enemy will attack the player if they were too slow
  • Some enemies can kill the player, whereas others will just disrupt the player, and help other enemies
  • The shutter can easily defend any enemy, but will only have limited health
  • The time must reach 6am for the player to win, typical FNAF game
